| West Ham United and Leeds United will face each other in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday evening. West Ham won their last-round match 5-3 against Brentford after a 2-2 draw in regular time. Leeds continued aftr a 3-0 victory against Championship side Norwich City. West Ham have gone to extra time in all three FA Cup rounds so far, while Leeds have only needed it in one. The hosts from London are currently in good form, having lost only two of their last nine competitive matches. Their home form is also clearly on the upswing after eight defeats in their first eleven home games, the Hammers are now unbeaten in six matches at home. Also striking is the low number of goals scored in both teams' current fixtures. The London club has only seen more than two goals in two of their last nine matches. Leeds, on the other hand, have had six of their last seven games with fewer than three goals, the last two of which ended in 0-0 draws. |
